HMD Global, the manufacturer of Nokia-branded smartphones, has launched the first smartphone Nokia 7 Plus at Mobile World Congress 2018 (MWC), which is the first device by the company to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio display. Nokia 7 Plus is priced at Euros399 (Rs 31,700 approx), and will be available starting April 2018. It can be bought in Black and Copper as well as White and Copper colour options.Along with Nokia 7 Plus, The company launched four other devices, the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 1 and the Nokia 8110 Slider with VoLTE at its launch event.
Nokia 7 Plus features a 6-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It sports a matte finish at the back and muted antenna lines. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Nokia 7 Plus is backed by a 3,800 mAh battery.
The dual sensors combine an ultra-sensitive 12MP wide-angle primary camera at the f/1.75 aperture and a secondary 13MP telephoto camera at f/2.6 aperture that allows 2x optical zoom capabilities.To improve the focus of the dual camera system on the back HMD Global has added a dual pixel phase detection. Just like Nokia 8, the phone also comes loaded with bothie feature. The phone also features Pro camera, which allows you full control over advanced settings.
Nokia 7 Plus comes with connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, BT 5.0, GPS/AGPS+GLONASS+BDS, NFC, USB type-C (USB 2.0), OTG, 3.5mm AV jack, and sensors(ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, e-compass, gyroscope, hall sensor, fingerprint sensor). In addition to the fingerprint sensor, the smartphone will also support Face Unlock feature for unlocking the device.
