Rajinikanth's Kaala Movie gets UA certificate from Censor board

Superstar Rajinikanth Upcoming Most Awaited Action Flick Kaala awarded with U/A certificate. Kaala has been suggested 14 cuts and the makers agreed for the possible cuts and Film release slated for April 27, might be postponed because of the ongoing strike in the Tamil film industry. Kaala, directed by Pa Ranjith, stars Rajinikanth in the title role. Lyca Productions, who have bagged the distribution rights for the film, has extended its support to the Tamil Film Producers’ Council.

Starring Rajinikanth as a Mumbai slum lord and messiah, Kaala was originally scheduled for 27 April release, but that date is likely to be changed because of the ongoing strike by Tamil film producers over the issue of digital projection fees.Till now, the producers have been asking for DSPs to come up with suitable answered for their demands and even theatre owners are asked to fulfil their demands.

Few theatres in Chennai started playing other language films and Producers are now holding talks to either stop other releases or end the strike amicably.Until, the situation is clear, we cannot be sure about release of Rajnikanth’s Kaala. The movie for now, is scheduled for a release on 27th April.
