Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE declared the class 10th result today. 86.70 per cent students qualified the exams and Thiruvananthapuram is the top region with 99.60 per cent qualified candidates. Students and their parents can check the class 10 result on the CBSE’s official website (www.cbse.nic.in), NIC hosted result portal (www.cbseresults.nic.in), Google search page, Bing search page, SMS Organizer app and UMANG app. The result portals may slow down a bit immediately after its declaration. The Google result page will be visible atleast for an hour. Likewise, Microsoft has introduced SMS Organizer app to help students check the results offline. With this app students can pre-register their details and the results will be delivered to them as SMS.

- On next page, enter your exam details; Roll Number and Date of birth
- Submit the details and check your results
AFter the CBSE 10th results declaration, Opting for a stream of choice in Class 12 very important for your future prospects. That does not mean that, everyone should opt for Science. Choose a stream of your choice, not from someone’s compulsion.
May 29, 01.10 pm: Meanwhile, the Delhi police has sent to the CBSE a list of students who had allegedly received the leaked class 10 mathematics and class 12 economics question papers after the board sought it from the crime branch, an official privy to the probe told Press Trust of India.
May 29, 12.50 pm: This is the first batch to have appeared for the Class 10 board examinations after the CBSE decided to junk the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) and reintroduce the board exams.
May 29, 12.35 pm: CBSE post result counselling will be open till June 9, 2018.The tele-counselling team comprises of 69 expert volunteers: Principals, trained counsellors, special educators and psychologist. Students can contact the CBSE post-result counselling team through a Centralized Access System by dialing toll free number 1800118004.
May 29, 12.20 pm: CBSE class 10 results 2017 were declared zone wise. The results of Allahabad, Chennai, Delhi, Dehradun and Trivandrum Regions were declared earlier and for other regions like Ajmer, Patna, Panchkula, Guwahati and Bhubaneshwar the class 10 result was declared later that day.

May 29, 12 noon: Last year, Thiruvananthapuram region recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.85, followed by Chennai at 99.62 and Allahabad at 98.23 per cent. Delhi’s pass percentage had fallen by over 13 per cent. The pas percentage for Delhi was 78.09 this year as compared to 91.06 per cent in 2016.
May 29, 11.42 am: Last year, in view of the Maharashtra State Government, considering only marks and grades for admission to class 11th in state institution, CBSE had decided to give marks of class 10th board examination 2017 to all students of CBSE affiliated schools in Maharashtra state.
May 29, 11.21 am: In class 12 result, Thiruvananthapuram has recorded the highest pass percentage (97.32%) followed by Chennai (93.87%) and Delhi (89%).
May 29, 11.06 am: This year for CBSE class 12 result, Kendriya Vidyalaya students fared well among all the other category of CBSE schools.
May 29, 10.50 am: CBSE post-result counselling has begun. Students can opt for tele-counselling till June 9, 2018.
May 29, 10.25 am: CBSE class 12 result was declared on May 26, 2018. The overall pass percentage is 83.01%. Meghna Srivatsava has secured the first position by scoring 499 out of 500 marks.

May 29, 9.10 am: As is the general practice, students should keep their admit card in hand in order to login to the result portal.
May 29, 9.00 am: For the typing error in class 10 English paper, the Board has decided to give two marks to all those students who had appeared for the paper.
May 29, 8.30 am: The Board has revised the pass mark criteria for this batch. As per the revision, a student has to secure 33% marks in total (internal assessment and board exams taken together) in order to pass the exam.
May 29, 8.00 am:CBSE class 10 result will be available at cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in, Microsoft SMS Organizer app, www.google.com, www.bing.com and UMANG app.
May 29, 7.30 am: The Board has not given an exact time for the result, however it said it will be released by 4 pm.
